Sequences Problem #1

rectangle problem

Here is a sequence of increasingly large similar rectangles.
For each iteration, the new rectangle width is larger than the previous rectangle width at a ratio of 5:2

1. If the area of the first rectangle is 20cm2 and the width of the third rectangle is
15.625 cm, find the length and width of the second rectangle.

2. What is the area of the 10th rectangle in the sequence?
